The LifeWorks Marketplace exists to serve two purposes. It is an opportunity to act as our thrift store, provide quality, used items at friendly prices to our neighbors. The Marketplace also serves our LifeStyle families by providing the opportunity to make their new apartment their own.
Through LifeStyle, we provide all of the furnishing, bedding, and kitchen items needed to live well. But there is more to feeling at home than the basics. Our program participants are provided a voucher for the Marketplace, which they can spend to get the little extras that help make everything feel special and good. Things like artwork, decorative wares, pots, pans, dishware, bedding, and the like can be expensive and hard to source, but we’ve got that covered!
We are happy to receive donations of gently used household items and appliances, but no electronics or books. You can reach out to InTake and they will help you determine the next steps for drop off.
